Frequently asked questions
What's included in the pack? +
Spraino Expert contains 4 front patches and 4 rear patches — enough for two pairs of indoor shoes. Two cleaning wipes are included.
Will Spraino fit my shoes? +
Spraino is tested for indoor court shoes in EU sizes 37 to 47. Within that range it fits the standard heel shape of shoes used for handball, badminton, volleyball and similar indoor sports.
Do I need to use both the front and the rear patch? +
Yes. The two patches work together, and both are needed for full protection. Using only one reduces the effect.
How long does one set of patches last? +
A set typically lasts 20 to 40 hours of play. Where you fall in that range depends mainly on your body weight and your playing style — heavier players and more aggressive movement wear the patches faster.
Will Spraino make me slip? +
Not during normal play. Spraino does not change your grip when the foot lands flat, so running, cutting and pushing off feel exactly as they did before. The low-friction surface only takes effect when you land on the outer edge of the shoe with the foot in a steep, near-vertical position — the landing that normally rolls your ankle. In that moment the shoe slides instead of catching on the floor, so the ankle is not forced into the twist.
How do I apply Spraino? +
Start with a clean, dry shoe. Use one of the included wipes to remove dust and debris from the area where the patch will sit, then press the patch firmly into place. The application video on this page shows each step.
Will Spraino damage my shoes? +
No. Spraino does not damage the shoe. If any adhesive residue is left behind after removing a patch, it wipes off with one of the included wipes.
Does handball resin affect Spraino? +
No. Spraino is tested and approved for handball, and resin on the court does not affect how the patches perform.
Is Spraino allowed in competition? +
Yes. There are no rules against Spraino in any league or federation we are aware of, and it is used in competitive play across Europe.
What about shipping and returns? +
We ship across the EU with delivery in 2–4 working days, and shipping is free on orders over €75. Unused products can be returned within 14 days in line with EU consumer law.
